Helping to Create a New, Peaceful Garden Escape...
The relationship with Ronald McDonald House and the Ottawa Chapter of Landscape Ontario began over 20 years when a group of member companies created the original gardens at the House.
Tim Kearney of Garden Creations has volunteered the staff and the time to take care of the grounds for many years, and with the able assistance and generosity of other Ottawa Chapter of Landscape Ontario members recently undertook to completely overhaul the gardens.
They planted new flower beds and edged and weeded the old ones, they pruned shrubs and trees, made old steps new again, and donated the flowers and shrubs.
They created a heart shaped flower bed around our maple tree and planted a rose garden of remembrance, complete with a sun dial.
All of which speaks volumes about the care and dedication given to this project by all involved.
The project goal was to provide a serene environment for our families to "escape" and enjoy a peaceful garden setting during their often stressful stay at Ronald MacDonald House.
Our very special thanks for the gift of a wonderful “garden creation” go to...
